It is a govt property and its location is really good. From outside, it may disappoint you as facade is not so attractive. But once inside, you will find good parking facility. We stayed in the family room which was on fist floor. Washroom was very small, it should have been a bit bigger. Both options for toilets - indian and western. Family room and dormitories are on first floor (no lift, only staircase). But if u are with aged persons, go for double bed rooms which are on ground floor. Staff is good and check out very smooth. We took dinner and breakfast there. Good food; but a bit costly. It would be better option to take dinner and lunch outside. They serve only tea in the room and for lunch, dinner and breakfast you will have to go to their restaurant which is on ground floor. Ram ghaat at walking distance. Bed sheets, pillows etc., were neat and clean.

It is an average UP Tourism run Government Hotel which needs better upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness especially the washrooms need cleanliness and better maintenance. Housekeeping needs to be improved.

When visiting Chitrakoot we didn't hesitate to go there (recommended on our traveling guide and Madhya Pradesh tourism website). Low-Medium budget hotel, clean place, quiet, big rooms, nice staff and good restaurant. Well located as well to wander by feet. Also at Chitrakoot we'd recommend to take a car/rickshaw to visit Ganesh Bagh with beautiful sculptures (about 11km far away from Chitrakoot center).

This hotel is located very near to the main attractions of Chitrakoot. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food served is freshly cooked and delicious. Mosquitoes are present in abundance although the repellent in the rooms are effective.

We stayed in this hotel for a night in Oct 2018. This hotel looks a bit worn out as the room given to us required a fresh coat of paint. But service wise it was very good. Also it is near to Ramghat which is the most happening place in Chitrakoot The food was good and palatable. But the hotel requires a bit more maintenance unlike other mp tourism hotels which we have visited.
